7Paper Collections: Darcy & Clara

January and July have long been my favorite paper crafting seasons for that's when new collections will be released and soon after hit the stores. Since summer CHA is no more in the old format, summer collections and previews have spread out. A two that have caught my eye in early summer are Crate Paper's Wonder collection and  Pink Fresh Studio's Happy Things collection

More recently Studio Calico has also released new collections under their 7Paper brand. They are colorful with fresh and clean designs by Marcy Penner and Tina Aszmus. Marcy designed the Darcy collection, which has you covered for back to school type of projects.

Darcy includes all you need to record those classroom moments - an album with page protectors, 9x12 papers, journaling cards, a roller stamp, stickers and more. Studio Calico has put together two collection bundles you can preorder now. The bundles only differ in the style of the albums they include though my favorite is the pencil handbook shown above. Taking about that handbook album, it's free with your preorder bundle while supplies last and you have the added benefit that the collection will hit the Studio Calico store around the end of August - about a month before other retailers! You can see a full description and shipping offer here:

Now, the new Clara collection has my heart and the design clearly has Tina Aszmus's signature style on it β™₯ The collection features the sweetest paper and embellishments to document your baby girl’s or baby boy's first years. You will love the variety of journal cards, stickers, vellum stars, labels and transparency dividers to pair with your baby girl and baby boy album.

I think the best thing about both of these baby collections is, that Tina chose to work with a color scheme beyond the traditional soft blue and pink.

I also had a little something from the Clara collection in my kit box for September and I can tell you this will be used over and over again. If you want to see more details for the Clara baby collection, you'll find them here with the click on the buttons:

Each preorder of the baby collections will receive a set of Monthly Transparencies while supplies last and they are estimated to ship in early September.

What are your favorite new collections? Leave me a link - I'd love to check them out! Also, there are more Studio Calico news to be shared but I'll keep this for another posts. Talk to you soon!
