Happy Insta Girls: Easter Card Blog Hop

Good morning, and welcome to the Easter edition of the Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop! If you missed the last few installations, this is a blog hop of cardmakers who have decided that Instagram is by far their favorite social media outlet. The very best thing, however, is that once we decide on a blog hop theme, the blog hop not only happens on-line but also in reality by way of surprise mail in your inbox. Sounds fun, right?

I was lucky that Maike had been drawn to send me a card and a little something for Easter. Turns out, that card was a very elaborate and super adorable one and it was surrounded by lots and lots of mini Kinder chocolates. I've made a mini slideshow below to show you everything in its full glory :)

Isn't her sponging technique on the Easter card so cool? I forgot to photograph the inside but Maike made it equally cute and creative as the card cover. Thank you so much, girl!!

Now, I myself totally overthought my card for this because I really wanted to come up with a way to incorporate the goody right into the card. Finally, I decided to just have a pocket under a paper layer where you can slide out a cute little bunny ear stamp set.

I kept the card cover in my usual clean and simple style and made use of an older Crate Paper collection and stamps + dies from Studio Calico. I really hope that Sonja, my recipient, liked what she got :)

Thanks for stopping by, friends, and have a hoppy Easter! Your next blog hop stop is Sonja and if you want to start from the beginning, go visit Julia first.
