Happy Scrappy Friends: Fabric
/Hello friends! April 12th means, it's time for your monthly dose of Happy Scrappy Friends inspiration. This time, we all decided to work with fabric of some sort on our projects.
Admittedly, I have a whole box of fabric sitting here unused, so I really loved the idea. Since plaids and similar patterns celebrated their revival lately, I decided on a lovely yellow piece. You can see it used as my background pattern.
Looking at the images now, I probably should have ironed it first but then, it adds an additional texture to the card. More texture is always a good idea in my book ;)
So while I kept it plain and simple, I'm sure some of the other girls have some clever ideas up their sleeves to use fabric on layouts and in their project life albums.
